By using CommonFaith Bible ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use this App. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this age requirement.

2. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must not share your account with others or use another person's account without permission.
• You must provide accurate information when registering.

3. Acceptable Use

When using community features (church feeds, prayer requests, chat, pulpit notes), you agree not to:

• Post content that is hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent, or abusive.
• Upload images containing nudity, graphic violence, hate symbols, or offensive gestures.
• Harass, threaten, or impersonate other users.
• Spam, advertise, or distribute malware.
• Attempt to circumvent our content moderation systems.
• Use the app or its AI features to generate harmful, misleading, or deceptive content.

4. Content Moderation

All community content (text and images) is subject to automated AI moderation before publication. Content that violates these terms will be rejected or removed. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or permanent ban. Users may report posts for review using the in-app report feature.

Church admins are responsible for managing their church community and may remove posts at their discretion within their church feed.

5. AI Features

CommonFaith Bible uses Google Gemini to power features including quiet time generation, chapter introductions, Bible quizzes, avatar descriptions, and the Ari study assistant. AI-generated content is provided for study and devotional purposes only and should not be treated as theological authority. We are not responsible for errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content.

6. Church Communities

• Church creators and admins are responsible for their community's conduct.
• We reserve the right to remove any church community that violates these terms.
• Joining a church makes your display name and profile visible to other church members.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, and its features are owned by CommonFaith Bible / SiteWiseNetwork. You retain ownership of content you create (notes, highlights, posts), but grant us a licence to store and display it within the App.

Bible text is sourced from public domain translations and licensed third-party sources where applicable.

8. Data & Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Key points:

• Church feed image posts (non-pinned) are automatically deleted after 30 days.
• You can delete your account and all associated data at any time via Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account.
• We collect and process data as described in the Privacy Policy, including AI moderation of community content.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation. AI-generated content is not guaranteed to be accurate or complete.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
